about
King of the Kuiper Belt was recorded between Doggerel and Puddledrinker, a sort of halfway house that doesn't fit with either but paved the way from one to the other. Anyway, it sat unheard until some time between midnight on the 25th of September and midnight on the 26th of September 2021.
The track was submitted to the Dark Outside (www.darkoutside.co.uk), a radio station that broadcasts from Murrays Monument in the Galloway Forest Dark Skies Park as part of Sanctuary Lab. The Dark Outside only plays music that has never been heard elsewhere, which led to this track being dug out and reappraised and hey, what do you know, it's better than I thought.
